FEATURE PROJECTS

Cotswolds

This period ‘style’ property lacked the visual and physical connection to the formal topiary garden terrace and ‘borrowed’ Cotswolds landscape beyond.

Working closely within the Cotswolds Design Codes, the rear of the house was opened into the garden terrace by an extensively glazed green oak framed garden room, providing a progression of movement from inside to outside space.

The full space potential of this Regency period property was unlocked by the following design interventions, the addition of a mansard roof, full plot width rear extension with landscaped terrace above and internal spatial remodelling.

Fulham, SW6

Foxcote, a Grade II listed 16th Century timber framed thatched house was provided with a 2-storey rear extension with glazed single storey link.  With extensive historical stakeholder negotiations, maximum additional space was approved and a specialist implementation team put into place for its build and successful completion.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Joanne Allen,
Whitehead
Despite a challenging site, Caroline designed and create a magnificent new home which nestles into the surrounding countryside, optimising light and views from every window. I love it, thank you.
Angela & Duncan Stradling,
Somerford Keynes
Caroline provided us with the inspiration behind the design of our oak framed garden room. She was able to illustrate to us the possibilities that then gave us the confidence to go ahead. We are so pleased with the outcome – an all-year space for relaxing, eating, and entertaining whilst taking in the fabulous view.
Damien & Kate Daly,
Wokingham
Looking for an extension that didn’t compromise the layout of the upstairs of my house, Caroline came up with a brilliant plan to push the bathroom out over my porch - creating sufficient space for a corridor to the new room with all bedrooms unaffected.     Imagination, design and practicality.
John and Hilary Hunt, Finchampstead
busbyK architect designed a beautiful garden room extension for our home in Finchampstead, Berkshire giving us a light, airy and modern kitchen/ dining room. The very insightful design transformed the feel and spaciousness of the property. Better still, with very busy lives for us both, Caroline project managed the whole build for us too!
